Steffen & Isabel Synnatschke (born Platzer) at Monument Valley, February 2008   It was our passion for Nature Photography that once guided us to each other and it is Nature Photography that still keeps us heading out to the great wide world in search of magic light, perfect clouds and new remote locations. Although we live in a modern world long past the Age of Discovery there is still quite a lot out there waiting for all of us to be explored, "discovered" or at least "to be rediscovered". And one of these very special places for us - where it is rather impossible to run out of photo opportunities - is the American Southwest. Increasingly, to both our surprise and pleasure, there are pictures where we are unable to tell whether it is his or mine. I guess somehow this great teamwork helped us mutually improve our images and photography skills.
